BETHANY CHARTER SCHOOL 2007-2008 SCHOOL REPORT CARD

Oregon Report Card Overall Rating: EXCEPTIONAL

April has arrived at the Bobcat Charter School,

April showers, wait….October, November, December, January and February too, bring May flowers.  Keep in mind all of the rain has a great purpose. Oregonians, still believe it’s the best place anywhere to live!  Take time to enjoy the blossoms and flower bearing trees.  It is a magnificent place to reside!  At last…..welcome spring, everyone!

The re-enrollment stage for our current Bobcats has closed.  It is now open to Silver Falls District Children until the 15th.  I am proud to share that most of our Bobcats have stated they plan on returning to the Charter next year.  We have a wonderful thing going when you have this high of a percentage returning to a school and that being a school of choice.

In the month of April, Bethany Charter School will be focusing on the ARTS, with our Annual Family Ice-cream and the ARTS evening scheduled for April 23.  Please mark your calendars to attend this fine evening of celebrating the bobcat’s artistic side.  We will also be celebrating our 5th year of being a Charter School that evening.  Please help us ring in the 5th year at approximately 6:55 pm in the Charter Courtyard.  Look for an invitation and details about this awesome family friendly event.

In the time we have left in this school year, I encourage you to identify a way you can be a volunteer or attend one of our upcoming events at the Charter.  Your presence and support makes a difference to your children’s success at school.  There are many volunteer opportunities for you to par-take in.  You may find yourself nominated for one of our fine volunteer appreciation awards.

Today be aware of how you are spending your 1,440 beautiful minutes.  Spend them wisely!  -Anonymous

Y ou will find a new face on the Charter campus.  We are pleased to welcome Ms.  Bonnie Chen to the Bobcat den for physical education an and morning brain gym exercises.  She is a familiar face in the community due to ties with our families who dine at  Happy Jing in Silverton.

April is a great month to be a Bobcat!
